My favorite shoe of all time is finally in my possession. Created in 1989, retro’d in 1999, and brought back again last year in a pack with the Jordan XIX.
Shoes do have a shelf life, OG’s from 1989 would quickly crumble if you tried to rock them. The 1999’s would not only run you about $500 but would be very difficult to snag a real pair due to excessive fakes (and they are nearing the end of their shelf life as well). So I chose the better half of last years pack release.
Averaging a drop every 10 years we may see this shoe again in 2019. I’ll be looking out.
